Paramount Theatre tickets & upcoming events

The Paramount Theatre in Oakland is one of those historic gems that just oozes character and soul. It’s been around since 1932 and has hosted everything from legendary concerts to epic community events. Honestly, stepping inside feels like stepping back in time with its stunning Art Deco architecture and the giant, colorful mural that wraps around the lobby, a real nod to Oakland’s vibrant arts scene. The acoustics are pretty impressive, especially if you're into catching live vocals, singers just sound richer and more alive here. The upper balcony offers a killer panoramic view, perfect for soaking in the entire vibe. And getting there? Easy enough if you take Highway 24 and hop off at Broadway, or for a more scenic route, cruise along Lakeshore then head west. Whether you’re here for a charity concert, a big-name band, or just a night out with friends, the Paramount never disappoints. Plus, they support local artists and musicians, which is pretty awesome. Oh, and if you’re wondering about seating, their interactive chart makes planning your perfect spot a breeze, whether you want front-row seats for Snarky Puppy or a cozy spot in the VIP Bald and the Beautiful section. Honestly, it’s one of those venues that just feels special, and once you’re inside, you’ll see why everyone keeps coming back.
